Hrvoje Peric holds an undergraduate degree in piano from Wilfrid Laurier University and a graduate diploma in conducting from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. Boyd MacDonald and Heather Taves were his principal keyboard instructors while Michael Purves-Smith and the late Vjekoslav Sutej were his instructors at the podium. He has been an active instructor and accompanist in London, Calgary, Montreal and Ottawa for the last two decades while simultaneously erecting small choral and instrumental ensembles fulfilling a desire to perform lesser known works to the community. Hrvoje also has a passion for sacred choral music and has enjoyed serving as choir master at a variety of churches within Canada. He is looking forward to joining the teaching staff at the conservatory in the fall of 2012.
