Susan Supeene

Voice

Susan received a Bachelor of Music (Honors) in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Education (Music Specialist) from the University of Western Ontario. Her teachers have included Alvin Reimer, Glen Harder and Judith Lindenbaum. Beginning in high school and university, Susan performed leading roles in several Gilbert and Sullivan productions and has soloed with orchestras in Ontario and Alberta. Her teaching career has included the positions of vocal coach with the Blyth Summer Festival and instructor with Sir Wilfred Grenfell College, CornerBrook. Susan introduced and instructs a program of music appreciation for wheelchair participants, and coordinates the Medicine Hat College "Summer School for Voice and Theatre Arts". Susan joined the Medicine Hat College Conservatory faculty in 1991.
