Valerie Brower

Valerie Brower received a Bachelor of Music degree majoring in School Music from the University of Lethbridge.  Over her thirty years of teaching experience in public education, she has taught music from Kindergarten to High School Band.  Valerie has attended several Kodaly and Orff conferences and workshops throughout her teaching career and implemented these concepts into her classroom curriculum.  From 1985 to 2005, she taught handbells as an extra-curricular ensemble at the elementary level.  She served on the Board of the Alberta Guild of English Handbell Ringers for eight years.  Valerie retired from teaching school in 2005 and has been teaching piano, accompanying, and performing in musical theatre orchestras.
