The Find It service is not just one service, but a bundle of services for users of the online databases. The ultimate goal is to make accessing periodical articles (journals, magazines, and newspapers) easier and more efficient. A user can employ the service as a standalone product (via Citation Linker or the A-Z List) or from within a compatible database (link resolver or interlibrary loan request).

This service was created in partnership with The Alberta Library (TAL) and the Lois Hole Campus Alberta Digital Library initiative.

The components of the Find It service are:

  • A-Z List - Used to locate periodical titles in the library and online.
  • Citation Linker - Used to locate specific articles in the libraries' print and online resources.
  • Periodical Link Resolver - Connects you from a citation/abstract in one database to the available full-text article in another – regardless of vendor.
  • Interlibrary Loan Request (from Find It) - Submit an interlibrary loan request from a database or a Find It service. Click on each service for more information.
