The Bookstore

Everything you need and great service, too.

Everyone is welcome to shop in the Bookstore! Need a text? Looking for a snack? Want to snuggle up in a MHC hoodie?

The Bookstore is your on-campus shopping solution. We stock all the texts and supplies required for college programs, of course, and offer easy access to computer and office supplies. We also carry a wide selection of snacks and MHC gear including gifts, clothing and accessories.

The public is welcome too, and everyone will encounter friendly, helpful service. Please note that the Bookstore is currently phasing out the use of plastic bags. Please bring your own bag for your Bookstore shopping, or purchase one of our reusable totes or other great bags.  

What's in the store?

Texts and books

You will find all required textbooks and references for MHC courses. Personal book orders can also be placed through the store.

We also buy and sell used textbooks, a great way to manage your budget. Additional information regarding buy back rules and dates can be obtained in the store. Texts can cost a lot, so we encourage you to check with your instructor to be sure you buy what you need. Please ask about refunds and returns rules, too.

We offer a wide selection of school supplies, stationery, paper for laser and inkjet printers, drafting supplies, computer supplies, and ink cartridges for most printers.

Computers, Computer Supplies and Software

We offer software at educational pricing including Microsoft, Adobe, Corel, and Macromedia. You must be a student or employee, with ID, to take advantage of the special pricing we offer. We can also order programs you need.

We are also an authorized retailer of Toshiba Satellite laptops.

Sundries

Think of us as your on-campus convenience store. You’ll find health and beauty aids, greeting cards, mementos, glassware, and a wide variety of drinks and munchies.

Parking Passes

We’re the source for parking passes for the semester or year. Acquaint yourself with the prices and rules, and we’ll be pleased to help you.

Purchases and Returns

Purchases can be made with cash, cheque (with valid student ID or 2 pieces of ID), Visa, MasterCard, and debit card. Refunds on returned merchandise are honoured up to 7 days with original sales receipt.

Please note that The Bookstore will be closed for staff meetings on the third Tuesday of every month from 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
