7th Annual Rattlers Men's Volleyball 2011-12 Hockey Pool

This year’s team has taken it upon themselves to run such an event as a fundraiser for the subsequent year’s anticipated costs.     

Hockey Pool Rules:

• Each entry must select ONE player from each of the twenty-seven categories provided on the following roster sheet. 
• If a player is injured over the course of the season, the entry DOES NOT receive a supplemental pick (i.e., cannot pick another player for a full 30-player roster) and participates throughout the rest of the draft as if the injured player is still playing.
• After an entry has been submitted, the participant may edit his/her picks by October 6/11 at noon, or the first day of the regular season. 
• If scores are tied at the end of the regular season, prize money will be divided amongst the winners.
• This year the hockey pool will be conducted entirely on the internet, and therefore, you must supply a valid email address in order to submit an entry.
• Payment must be received by October 31/10 or your entry will be deleted.
• Entries must be submitted no later than noon on October 6, 2011  

Scoring:

Teams consist of 30 players total (21 forwards, 6 defense, & 3 goalies)
Points will be awarded on the following basis:

• 1 point for a goal
• 1 point for an assist
• 1 point for a shoot out goal
• 1 point for a goalie win
• 2 points for a goalie shutout 

Cost:

• The cost of each entry is $20
• Any particular individual/group can provide as many entries as they wish 
• Questions can be forwarded with payment to Kyle Pushkarenko (403.529.3905, G104 – Medicine Hat College) or Terry Noble (403.529.3840, Weight Room, Medicine Hat College).
• If entries are from outside the city of Medicine Hat or surrounding area, payment can be forwarded to any individual from the Medicine Hat College Men’s Volleyball Team. 
• Prize money will be awarded following the regular season end on April 10, 2011 (1st – $500, 2nd - $300, 3rd - $200)  

Pool Entry:

• Go to the website: www.hockeydraft.ca
• Enter the following username and password: 
• Username: rattlers 
• Password: volleyball 
• Once logged in, select Entry Form from the options given at the top of the page
• Enter your name, email address, and messaging password as indicated, then highlight your selection from each of the 30 boxes.
• Hit Submit Entry at the bottom of the page and you are entered
• An email from hockeydraft.ca will follow shortly indicating your completed registration
• Submit payment via the information given below
