Time Frame: All Future Past Game Type: All Exhibition League Play Off
This year’s Rattlers Men’s Volleyball team experienced a very demanding season. Over the grueling eight months of training, team play, and travel, the squad became overwhelmed with setbacks that left the team in a state of disarray from one time to the next. Coupling these setbacks with the fact that the league’s level of play continued to improve amongst all teams, the Rattlers experienced an uphill battle right from the start of the season.
Despite the obstacles, the Rattlers held their own throughout the course of league play finishing with an 8 and 12 win/loss record. Along the way, the team knocked off the eventual silver and bronze medalists at this year’s ACAC Conference Championship in the Red Deer Kings and Briercrest Clippers. In addition to closing out the season on a positive with a 3-0 road win over Augustana, a few individuals left their mark on the ACAC with top-10 feats in several statistical categories including kills, digs, and blocks.
The men’s volleyball team is proud to graduate several student-athletes off this year’s squad. A number are finished their respective academic programs and are moving into the workforce while others are pursuing future academic and athletic endeavors. The men’s volleyball team is looking forward to those who plan on returning, in addition to those newly committed recruits coming in to play next year.
