This course teaches the application of mathematical principles and concepts used in business. Key subject areas covered include break-even analysis, mark-up pricing, simple and compound interest applications, future and present value of money, and amortization scheduling principles.

TG BMAT 183 Business Math and Statistics
Prerequisite: BMAT 182
Using the knowledge gained in BMAT 182, BMAT 183 will focus on the uses of data in realistic business applications and problems. Topics include using data for decision making, using numbers, graphs and tables to describe date, probabilities, sampling distributions, and other statistical techniques applied to data and business situations.
