Chiropractic (Pre-Professional) Palmer College of ChiropracticProgram OverviewThe minimum admission requirements to the Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C) program at Palmer College of Chiropractic, are- a minimum of 3 years (90 credits) of coursework - a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 on a 4.0 scale on all coursework completed - a minimum GPA of 2.50 for the specific prerequisite coursework, when it is calculated separately You may take up to two years (60 credits) at Medicine Hat College prior to transferring to a university for a third year of studies. You are advised to organize your program so that you could complete a degree in the Faculty of your choice in the event you are not accepted to the Palmer College of Chiropractic. Although it is not a prerequisite for admission, Palmer College of Chiropractic recommends students complete a bachelor’s degree prior to entering the D.C. program. Palmer College of Chiropractic has three campuses in San Jose, California; Davenport, Iowa; and Port Orange, Florida. Candidates are selected based on several factors, which may include grade point average (GPA), total number of credits completed, prerequisite GPA, letters of recommendation and the personal profile/essays. Personal interviews may be conducted. Students are advised to start the application process one year in advance. Students at Medicine Hat College will take courses including Biology, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physics, English, and Psychology.
