Education Assistant

Program Overview

The Education Assistant program prepares graduates to work with children who require assistance in developmental and/or learning tasks. Particular foci of the program are on (i) working under the supervision and direction of a teacher to assist children in elementary and middle schools (Grades K-9) and (ii) working under the supervision and direction of a teacher to assist children with developmental and/or learning difficulties. Graduates are also prepared to work with children in a range of out of school settings.
