As we get ready to watch the world compete in Vancouver, the MHC games is a great chance to warm up your competitive spirit!
 

Six teams will compete in three different events from November to February.
 

Students and faculty can sign up to compete with their academic division, and other MHC employees can join the staff team.  To sign up, check out the winter games website here: http://www.mhc.ab.ca/wintergames/

A maximum of 50 participants are allowed per team, so sign up now! You can register by visiting the Career Services desk in Student Services during business hours. There will also be a sign-up table on October 22, 26, and 29 in the cafeteria from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The team with the most points after all three events will be awarded the coveted gold medal at the closing ceremonies.

Opening ceremony – November 18 at noon in the cafeteria

Event 1 – November 18, Snowshoe race

Event 2 – January 14, Bobsledding

Event 3 – February 8, 9, 10, Ball Hockey Tournament

Closing Ceremony – February 11

 

All events take place on college grounds over the lunch hour.
