Medicine Hat College announces headline band for Homecoming 2010

Medicine Hat College is calling all alumni, students, and community members to join us on September 17 & 18, 2010 for Homecoming.

The annual college celebration will feature new activities for families and continue the festival theme of previous years. This year we are ecstatic to announce Canadian band Default will headline the main stage concert.

Default’s career got started when they were discovered by Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger shortly after forming in Vancouver in 1999. Kroeger’s interest led him to support the production of their debut album The Fallout. Their latest album, Comes and Goes, debuted in September 2009.

In addition to the concert, the homecoming weekend will include the following events and activities:

Rattlers Hall of Fame Breakfast at 9:30 am
Rattlers Soccer Action
Women’s Game at Noon
Men’s Game at 2 pm
Family Fun Zone gates open at 4 pm
Kinsmen Beer Gardens gates open at 4 pm
Concert starts at 7 pm

Homecoming 2010 is expected to be the biggest celebration yet, with more exciting announcements to be made over the summer. For more information check us out at mhc.ab.ca.
