Neithan Allen is in the hunt at the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association golf championships in Castlegar, B.C. The 24-year-old playing for the newly-reformed Medicine Hat College Rattlers program sits in a four-way tie for fifth place heading into today’s final round.

He shot a 3-over par 75 Wednesday and followed that up with a 1-over 73
Thursday. After finishing fourth at the Conference Championships the High Level native knew he’d be a contender. With a solid finish, a spot on the podium could be in store.
Humber College’s James Castle leads with a two-round score of 140, eight
better than Allen and three ahead of second place.

 

None of the other 13 Albertans are in the top 30 in the field of 76.
