Bring Back the Music

Founded in 2012, Bring Back the Music pairs elementary school students to Medicine Hat College Conservatory instructors who teach the children violin, cello and guitar. This partnership between the Medicine Hat College Conservatory, Elm Street, and Riverside schools offers the opportunity to expose children, who may not have otherwise had the opportunity, to the arts. Over 110 students are impacted by the program on an annual basis, with each student receiving approximately 84 hours of instruction throughout the year.

For the most promising of students, we also have been able to offer scholarships to continue their musical education at the Conservatory.

We continue to look for additional supporters of the program to carry it on into the years to come. If you have an interest in becoming involved please contact the Foundation for details on opportunities.
