I have had an interest in computers since 2002. Yes, you read that right. It is not a typo - only 2002. I went through the Medicine Hat College Information Technology program and graduated in 2010. Part of the program was a co-op component that I was introduced to and was lucky enough to participate in. I didn’t know it at the time but the combination of the co-op program, hard work, and my membership in Phi Theta Kappa got me my first job in the IT industry with Alberta Health Services. Currently I am a systems and application administrator at the Medicine Hat College and a new instructor with the IT program. I love to make my job and the jobs of others easier, and I usually find the solution to be PowerShell. I have become quite proficient with PowerShell because of this. I started to instruct at the Medicine Hat College for two basic reasons. One; to give back to the community and two; to help produce some of the best trained students in our field.
