Jessica Plattner

Jessica Plattner received her BFA from Washington University School of Art in St. Louis, USA, and her Master of Fine Arts from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, USA and Temple Rome, Italy. In 2007-08 she was the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to Mexico from the United States Department of State’s Council for International Exchange of Scholars.

She has attended residencies at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, The Vermont Studio Center, and Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy. Jessica has presented her work in solo exhibitions in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Previously Associate Professor of Art at Eastern Oregon University, USA, Jessica now lives in Medicine Hat, where she is a member of The Hive Artists Hub and teaches Drawing and 2DFundamentals in the visual communications program at Medicine Hat College.
