About this Program

If you are unable to attend college full-time due to other commitments, our Travel Counsellor program is the perfect choice for you. You will have the option to work on the required courses online at a time that is convenient for you through self-study, but still have ongoing support from course instructors. With enough structure to keep you motivated, and enough freedom to keep a job or manage a family, this program provides excellent balance. The only program of its kind in Canada, our Travel Counsellor program also provides you with a four-week career experience as part of your studies.

In addition to being a flexible option, our Travel Counsellor program is also a great option for those who love to travel. Find a job that provides you travel experiences while you are at work, or set your sights on a career that offers you access to the best vacation opportunities. You will have the opportunity to help others realize their own travel dreams, while also accessing wonderful opportunities for travel around the world.

This certificate program is endorsed by the Canadian Institute of Travel Counsellors (CITC). If you wish to advance your training further, our Travel Counsellor certificate will qualify you to write the entry-level national certification exam. This national exam is the first step toward becoming a CTC (Certified Travel Counsellor), the national industry designation.
