This course focuses on witness interviews as well as persons of interest interview techniques. An in-depth study of various police investigative techniques, including wiretaps, use of technology, the role of social media, crime management systems, and risk management and assessment in criminal investigation will be undertaken. This course also focuses on interagency cooperation and investigations and includes a study of white-collar crime and investigative techniques. This course will also undertake a practical application of surveillance techniques as utilized by a variety of enforcement practitioners.
