Medicine Hat, Alberta (July 23, 2015): Medicine Hat College (MHC) Rattlers would like to welcome Mark Porter as the new head coach of the men’s volleyball team effective July 22, 2015.  Coach Porter steps in to replace Steve Russell who returned to teaching junior high school.

Porter has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Lethbridge, a Masters of Organizational Psychology and is current working on a Doctorate of Business Administration.

“We are very pleased to have found a high quality, experienced coach from right here in Medicine Hat,” said Terry Ballard, manager of Sports and Wellness.  “We are excited to have Mark join the Rattlers and we are confident he will do an outstanding job with the men’s volleyball program.”
