Medicine Hat College’s School of Arts, Science, and Education invites applications for a part-time temporary instructor(s) within the Humanities and Social Sciences faculty for the Winter 2025 semester.
A little about the role:
This position(s) will provide in-person instruction for students attending the Medicine Hat campus for the following course(s) for the Winter 2025 semester:
- One section of ANTH 213 (Contemporary Indigenous Issues in Canada)
- One section of ANTH 203 (Introduction to Social and Cultural Anthropology)
- Two sections of RELI 201 (World Religions: Western)
This position requires a passion and commitment to learners, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work within the Humanities and Social Sciences faculty, and an interest in academic research and scholarship.

- Minimum Requirement: Master’s degree in related discipline.
- Related post-secondary teaching experience and/or research background is an asset.
- Willingness to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that focuses on student success.
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy.

Degrees conferred outside of Canada must be accredited by the Province of Alberta, International Qualification Assessment Service, Alberta Advanced Education and Technology, in order to be valid and recognized by Medicine Hat College.
