How to Register

All fees are payable in Canadian funds. Prices are subject to change.

  • Complete & send your application form with a $45 application fee (cheque, money order, or credit card with expiry date) to Medicine Hat College or fax to 403-502-8494.
  • Once accepted, Medicine Hat College will issue the student a Letter of Acceptance.
  • After the Letter of Acceptance is received, student authorization to study in Canada must be obtained (Study Permits - for students wanting to study for more than 6 months).
  • Students must then confirm their arrival (date, time, flight number) by email (inted@mhc.ab.ca).  MHC will then release Homestay information, confirm airport pick-up (FREE of charge), and arrange health insurance.
  • Students interested in Student Residence, must complete the Residence Application form (residence link) & pay the $300 deposit.  Students should apply early as space is limited!
  • Pay tuition in full on or before the first day of classes.

Homestay Fees

$600.00/month (includes 3 meals/day)

  • Student pays Homestay family directly
  • Student pays on the date of their arrival (If student arrives on February 17, they will pay when they arrive and then on the 17th of every month).
