Welcome to MHC!

New Student Orientation on September 4 is the best way to dive in to your college experience. This event will give you information about what to expect during your time at MHC. It's also a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with the college and meet your new classmates!

FREE SAMHC BREAKFAST / 8:30 - 9:45AM / Crave
What better way to start the day than with a hearty breakfast? The only thing that could make it better would be if it was FREE ….oh….wait a minute! Hosted by the Students' Association Medicine Hat College (SAMHC)

PROGRAM ORIENTATION / 10AM - 12PM / Various locations (see list below)
This is a chance to meet other students in your program, your instructors, and learn what to expect over the year. It will help you feel extremely prepared to face your first day of classes!




FREE LUNCH / 12 - 1:30PM / Main entrance
Who doesn’t love free food? Join us for something hot off the grill and spend some time visiting with your new friends. There will be a live DJ so make sure you’re there!

All international students are required to join the International Education and Diversity team for lunch and an introduction to life as an international student at MHC. This session is mandatory for all international students and will cover classroom expectations, cultural adjustment, supports and services, and immigration requirements.

Attend up to four sessions covering everything from college life to campus technology. Find the information that is most important to you and get set up for success at MHC.

Living on campus this year? Join the residence team to learn more about your new home, meet your friendly RAs and find out about the great activities planned for the year. You'll also receive valuable advice for building strong relationships with your fellow residents to ensure your experience is positive, plus important information about on campus housing rules and regulations.
