With over a decade of experience teaching in both traditional and on-line settings, she brings an engaging approach to the classroom. Serena’s teaching philosophy centers around fostering a love for learning and curiosity in her students where she creates a supportive learning environment that encourages exploration and growth. In the classroom, Serena uses her insights and experience gained working in the field to effectively convey the underlying social work concepts. What Serena likes most about teaching at MHC is the diversity of students and staff and how much she learns from them all.
