Medicine Hat College’s Athletics & Recreation department is seeking Recreation Assistant II (Camp Leaders) for their upcoming Sports Camps.
A little about the role:
With a positive, energetic & enthusiastic attitude, the Recreation Assistant will teach children a variety of activities, adapting teaching methods & instructional materials to meet and exceed the needs of children of varying abilities. This position will also be responsible for enforcing all Camp policies and procedures.
Details:
- Experience working with, instructing, and coaching children is required
- Sport specific knowledge and experience is required
- Current standard First Aid and CPR B is required
- Previous camp experience and knowledge of the Sport and Wellness programs, services, and facilities is an asset
- Term of Appointment: June 26, 2024 to August 26, 2024
- Hours of Work: Up to 35 hours per week, on call as needed
- Wage Rate: $16.99 per hour (Start Rate)
