Medicine Hat College is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Instructor, Nursing to teach at the Brooks Hospital in the Nursing program for the Fall 2024 semester (September 2024 – December 2024).
A little about the role:
The successful candidate will instruct: NURS 589 Rural Health (192 - 228 hours, Monday/Tuesday; alternating day/evening shifts)

Faculty will also engage in all aspects of student and program success, including participating in program specific and committee work, and other administrative duties related to their course and program.
Details:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required
- 5 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse is required; rural nursing experience required
- Current or immediate eligibility for CRNA registration and be a member in good standing
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a high functioning, student focused team
- Qualified applicants with teaching experience in a post-secondary environment will be well suited to apply for this position
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
