Introduction to Health Care and Rehabilitation
Introduction to Canada�s current health care system with a detailed focus on rehabilitation philosophy and the professions of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. The roles of the occupational therapist assistant/physical therapist assistant and speech-language pathologist assistant are introduced. Skills and knowledge are developed through exposure to clinical rehabilitation settings, institutional policies and procedures, and universal precautions.
