Apply to Graduate and Celebrate Your Success

Congratulations on your achievement!
To officially complete your program and receive your parchment, you need to apply to graduate in your Student Dashboard by March 16, 2025. Skipping this step could leave your transcript incomplete and delay the receipt of your parchment.

Celebrate your success at Convocation!
This is your moment to recognize the hard work, dedication, and commitment that brought you here. Cross the stage with your classmates and share this milestone with the friends, family, and supporters who’ve been cheering you on.

When should I arrive and where do I go?

Convocation parking map with entrances marked
You need to be in your convocation gown and ready to line up no later than 12 p.m. Please leave all personal items in your vehicle or with friends or family.

Please note: The Stage Door entrance will be locked at 12:50 p.m. You will not be able to participate in the ceremony if you arrive once the ceremony has started.

Staff will be on hand to assist with your convocation gown and stole and provide you with the required material you need to cross the stage. The material will be labelled with your program and name. It is important that you keep this material with you until you cross the stage during the ceremony. Staff line you up in alphabetical order (by last name) in your program. It is important that you maintain that order for the duration of the ceremony.

How long is the ceremony?
The ceremony will last approximately 2.5 hours. You and your guests are asked to remain seated in the arena for the duration of the ceremony.

What happens after the ceremony?
To celebrate your accomplishments, you and your guests are invited for complimentary refreshments at the Alumni Social on the concourse immediately following your ceremony. Please plan to attend and enjoy the celebration with your fellow graduates, instructors, and college staff.

GOWNS

How do I order my gown?
Apply to graduate and order your gown for convocation in your Student Dashboard

Where do I pick up my gown?
Convocation gowns will be available for pick up on June 11, 2026 from 12 p.m.- 6 p.m. and June 12, 2026 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. through the Stage Door entrance at the southeast end of Co-op Place.

Gowns must be returned to the same location that you picked it up at by 5 p.m. on June 12, 2026. Should a gown fail to be returned, a hold will be placed on your account until the gown is returned or paid for. If your gown is returned late, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping it to the gown provider in Winnipeg.

What should I wear?
The convocation gowns are warm, so consider the weather and wear appropriate clothing the day of your ceremony. The gowns typically fall to mid-calf, so business dress and comfortable shoes are suggested.

GUESTS & PARKING

How many guests can I invite?
There is no limit on the number of people you may invite. The main doors at the front of Co-op Place open for guests at 12 p.m.

Where can my guests and I park?
