Instructor of the Year
The instructor must be a full-time regular or full-time temporary faculty, or part-time faculty who have accumulated six semesters of employment. This instructor demonstrates teaching expertise, is respected by students for professionalism, and makes a contribution to the institution.

Student of the Year
To qualify for Student of the Year, the student should have achieved an outstanding academic standing consisting of a GPA of at least 3.5 in both the fall and winter terms of the academic year and qualify as a full-time student as per MHC’s Academic Regulations. The student must have a made a significant contribution to the social, cultural, or recreational life of Medicine Hat College.
