MHC Wifi
Wireless Internet access is available throughout the Medicine Hat and Brooks locations. The wireless network permits access to the Internet and technical resources for students, staff and visitors.
The SSID (name) for the wireless is MHC-WiFi.
After connecting your web browser should open and prompt for your credentials, which will be one of the following:
- Active Student Login / Email
- Current Employee Login / Email
Frequently Asked Questions
Wireless is available to all current student and employees of the college.
Community members and visitors to the Medicine Hat College can visit the Vera Bracken Library to receive credentials to access the wireless at no cost.
Wi-Fi is also available at the Brooks Campus.
Note: Members of the public may require some form of Government ID to receive credentials.
Community members and visitors to the Medicine Hat College can access our MHC_Public Wi-Fi by following the below instructions:
Step 1: Select the MHC_Public Wi-Fi SSID from your device.

Step 2: Your device will bring you to the MHC Public Wi-Fi login page automatically. If your device does not bring you to the login page automatically, try browsing to a known website like www.google.com.

Step 3: Click the “Don’t have an account?” link if you do not already have an account. If you do have an account you can enter the account credentials and click “Sign On”.

Step 4: Enter the requested information, and then click register.

Step 5: Click the “Sign On” button and your device will login. You can record the username and password and use it on other devices for 24 hours.

Step 6: Read the acceptable use policy and click accept if you agree to the terms.
