Medicine Hat College’s School of Health and Community Services invites applications for part-time, temporary instructors for Interdisciplinary Studies. Professionals from paramedics, social work, child and youth care, nursing, therapy assistance, criminal justice, addictions counselling, pharmacy technician and other interdisciplinary roles are encouraged to apply.
A little about the role:
The successful candidates would teach a lecture component of IDST 100 – Introductory Communications for Helping Professionals. Details of this course can be found in the college calendar or online at www.mhc.ab.ca/ProgramsandCourses/Academic-Programs/AcademicCalendar.
Details:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred
- Post-Secondary teaching experience is an asset
- Equivalent combinations of work experience and post-secondary education may be considered
- Willingness to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that focuses on student success and has a positive, appreciative and enthusiastic personality
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy
