Medicine Hat College invites applications for Recreation Assistant I’s in the Athletics & Recreation Department. This is a casual position which requires availability to work a variety of shifts.
A little about the role:
Responsibilities include setting up, taking down and issuing equipment, supervising the gym & fitness center, distributing uniforms, and other duties as assigned. This position also requires some physically demanding labour: doing laundry, mopping the gym floor courts and lifting weight room equipment.
Details:
- Grade 12 Diploma.
- Previous experience in a gymnasium/athletic facility.
- Current Standard First Aid certificate & CPR C.
- Responsible & organized.
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts; i.e. evenings, weekends.
Terms of Employment: May 1, 2025 to August 31, 2025
Hours Per Week: Up to 30 hours per week; on-call as needed
Pay Rate: $15.69 per hour (Start Rate); $17.17 per hour (Job Rate)
