Medicine Hat College is seeking a research assistant to support an archaeological and bioarcheological research project.
A little about the role:
The work will involve data entry and work within a relational database. The site is Bir-el Djabbana in Carthage, Tunisia and we will be digitizing catalogues of skeletal material, as well as feature, layer, and burial forms from the excavation.
Details:
- A student who has completed 1st year studies at a post-secondary institution.
- Candidate must be well organized and detail oriented.
- Experience or interest in archaeology, biological anthropology, and/or anatomy would be an asset.
- Candidate must be able to work independently.
Terms of Employment: May 1, 2025 to June 30, 2025
Hours Per Week: 150 hours for the above term
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
