Corporate Training Officer
Medicine Hat College invites applications for a regular, full-time Regional Training Strategist position in our Extended Learning Unit, School of Business and Continuing Studies. This is a regular, full-time position (35 hours) at the Medicine Hat College Brooks Campus.
A little about the role:
The Regional Training Strategist is responsible for cultivating and implementing training partnership opportunities and coordinating and building custom workplace training programs. This position works strategically to expand learning opportunities in the region with customized pathways and partnerships. This role is responsible for securing instructors and/or contractors for workplace training, addressing student concerns, and preparing and submitting government reports. It also formulates and presents client budgets for approvals, and monitors expenses and makes budgetary recommendations to the client and department manager. The position plays a key role in expanding learning opportunities across the region through innovative programming and partnerships.
Details:
- A relevant undergraduate degree and/or a minimum of three years of experience in workforce training, business development, or partnership management.
- Demonstrated success in relationship building, overseeing customized training initiatives, and managing budgets and contracts is essential.
- A strategic and adaptable mindset with a strong client-service orientation. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and learning management systems.
- A valid driver’s license.
- The ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment involving multiple stakeholders is critical.
