Medicine Hat College invites applicants for a full time instructor in our Information Technology Diploma program beginning July 1st, 2026. This is a full-time position leading to a regular appointment subject to successful completion of a two year probationary period.
A little about the role:
The successful candidate will be able to teach in our Software and Internet Development, and Network and System Administration majors. Instruction will be at the first- and second‑year levels and may include programming in C#, database development, systems analysis, Active Directory administration, Cisco networking, cloud infrastructure management, and data center and hardware management. We recognize this is a broad range of skills, and we encourage applicants who have strengths in any of these areas to apply. Details:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least three years related experience
- Teaching experience in a post-secondary environment is an asset
Assets (not required):
- Cisco Certified Network Associate Certification
- Azure Administrator Associate (or similar)
