Medicine Hat College’s School of Arts, Science, and Education invites applications for a part time psychology instructor in our Humanities and Social Sciences Department. Successful candidates will teach two (2) sections of Growth and Development for Practical Nurses (PSYC 153) in-person in the Fall 2026 semester at the Medicine Hat College Brooks Campus for the Practical Nursing program.
A little about the role:
The primary workload will include instructing these sections in-person to provide a quality learning experience to students. The successful candidate will also be required to engage in a variety of professional responsibilities and contribute to a collaborative environment that fosters the mission of the College and the success of our students. This position requires a passion and commitment to learners, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team.
PSYC 153 • Growth and Development for Practical Nurses - This course presents a comprehensive overview of human growth and development and normal behavioral responses throughout the life span. Emphasis is placed upon the stages of development and their linkage to common events and adaptations.
Hours: 42 hrs. (3-0) 14 weeks Credits: 3
