The Yuill School of Health and Community Services at Medicine Hat College is seeking applications for the position of part-time, temporary instructor for the Pharmacy Technician program. This part-time, temporary on-campus role is set to begin on August 15, 2026.
Details:
- Active and current licensure with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Registered Pharmacy Technician.
- A Pharmacy Technician Diploma from a recognized and accredited program.
- A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, ensuring the maintenance of skills and competencies in practice settings in alignment with Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP) accreditation standards.
- A minimum of three years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice.
- Experience in the preparation of sterile products, including parenteral medications and the application of aseptic techniques.
- Experience teaching in a post‑secondary educational environment is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of post‑secondary education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and work effectively within a team‑based environment.
