A little about the role:
The SME & Instructional Designer – Project Management Fundamentals develops practical training for adult learners. This role turns project management expertise into clear, engaging learning that supports workplace application. Working with the Extended Learning team, the role helps define outcomes and create course content, assessments, and activities.
Success requires strong project thinking, clear organization of complex content, and the ability to meet timelines. The role also involves collaboration, incorporating feedback, and adapting materials for diverse learners and workplace needs
Details:
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- PM practice and/or adult learning/instructional design experience (preferred).
- Creates clear, engaging adult learner focused learning materials.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration; responds well to feedback.
- Proficient with instructional design tools and learning management systems.
- Manages deadlines and multiple deliverables independently.
- Knowledge of digital learning environments and applied PM concepts required.
Scope of Work – Project Management Fundamentals Training Development:
- Subject Matter Expert development of 21 hours of learner content
- Instructional Design of 21 hours of learner content on LMS system
Work Arrangement: Hours to be scheduled in coordination with the Extended Learning team to meet project milestones and delivery timelines. All work must be completed by June 30, 2026.
Contract Term: Project-Based Contract (Completion Date: June 30, 2026)
Hours: 42 hours for the term
Compensation: $125 per course hour (42 hours total)
