Medicine Hat College’s Human Resources department is accepting internal applications only for a full-time, regular Human Resources Advisor – Talent Acquisition.
A little about the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resource Advisor – Talent Acquisition is responsible for providing a range of human resource services to management and employees within MHC in accordance with staffing principles, collective agreements, policies and procedures. The primary focus for this position is to provide consultative services and coordination for the College’s full recruitment cycle to retain a qualified and suitable workforce as part of the College’s strategic direction. This includes providing support with new employee orientations, onboarding, and the job evaluation process, as well as advising on contract interpretations, and researching initiatives.
Details:
- A diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Three (3) years related experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or other related field. Experience in an union environment considered an asset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work well with team members in an environment with pressing deadlines.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computers, databases, and web applications and knowledge of marketing concepts and social media platforms.
- A self-starter, with demonstrated initiative and flexibility.
Annual Salary: $62,143
