Medicine Hat College’s Yuill School of Health & Community Services invites applications for a full-time position as an instructor in our collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program with the University of Calgary, beginning as soon as possible. Subject to successful completion of a two-year probationary period, this position will be a continuous appointment in the Yuill School of Health & Community Services.
A little about the role:
As a member of the faculty, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction across a variety of settings, such as lecture, laboratory, and clinical instruction within a program-approved curriculum. This role supports student success through evidence-informed teaching practices, meaningful assessment and feedback, and active participation in program development and continuous quality improvement processes.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to learner-centered education, interprofessional collaboration, and preparation of graduates for a safe, competent, and ethical nursing practice.

Details:
- A bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
- A master’s degree in nursing is preferred.
- 5 years of full-time nursing practice as a Registered Nurse.
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- Current or immediate eligibility for CRNA registration as a member in good standing.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred, with the ability to incorporate theory into practice.
- Willingness to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that focuses on student success and has a positive, appreciative and enthusiastic personality.
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy.
