Medicine Hat College invites applications for a regular, full - time Administrative Assistant IV in the Yuill School of Heath and Community Services
A little about the role:
Reporting to the Dean in the Yuill School of Health and Community Services, this position is responsible for anticipating, scheduling, and organizing administrative operations to ensure effective day today management of procedures and workflow. The role maintains strong working relationships with the School’s Associate Dean, and Chairs, Coordinators, and administrative units across the College. The role’s primary focus is to provide multifaceted administrative support to the Dean and proactively lead efficient operations within the School office, ensuring all administrative and compliance functions are carried out accurately and on time. This position also serves as a key point of contact and support for students, the public, and MHC employees who interact with the Dean and School.
Details:
- Business administration diploma or equivalent OR an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- 3 years related office experience.
- Knowledge of financial reports, Human Resources processes, and other administrative policies
- Knowledge of Post-Secondary system, POPA and collective agreements.
- Strong organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment, where multitasking, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly are essential to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
Wage Rate: $26.16 per hour (Start Rate); $29.35 per hour (Job Rate)
