The School of Arts, Science and Education at Medicine Hat College invites applications for a full-time, in-person Instructor position in Kinesiology, starting July 1, 2025. Following successful completion of a two-year probationary period, this position will become a continuous appointment.
A little about the role:
The primary workload will include instructing in-person lectures and labs in courses that may include but are not limited to:
- Human Anatomy
- Functional Anatomy
- Motor Skill Acquisition and Performance
- Principles and Concepts of Physical Activity
- Growth and Development
- Introduction to Wellness, Fitness, and Nutrition
- History and Philosophies of Physical Education, Recreation, and Sport
- Work-Integrated Practicum
As part of the Kinesiology faculty, the successful candidate must be committed to providing quality and engaging learning experiences to students. The successful candidate will also be required to engage in a variety of professional responsibilities and contribute to a collaborative environment that fosters the mission of the College and the success of our students. This position requires a passion and commitment to learners, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work on a team.

Details:
- Minimum Master’s Degree in a related field is required
- Post-Secondary teaching experience
- Willingness to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that focuses on student success and has a positive, appreciative and enthusiastic personality
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
