Medicine Hat College’s Information Technology Services invites applications for a permanent full-time Information Technologist I.
A little about the role:
Reporting to the Team Lead, Client Services, the Information Technologist will work with the client services team to implement and troubleshoot software and hardware for the college community, including staff and students. Specific duties include providing exceptional front-line service and support in our call centre, maintaining computer hardware and software applications, and operational duties as required to fully support information technology services college wide.
Details:
- Information Technology Diploma
- 2 years related experience
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
- Knowledge of computer and modern technology operations, hardware, software applications, installation, and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with pressing deadlines
- A+ certification is an asset
- Physically able to do extensive walking and some equipment lifting
Hours of Work: 35 hours
Wage Rate: $26.16/hour (Start Rate); $29.35/hour (Job Rate)
