A little about the role:
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable full-time Instructor to join our Pharmacy Technician program, with additional responsibilities as the Program Coordinator and leader of our accreditation process. This individual will play a pivotal role in both teaching within the program and overseeing the program’s initial accreditation process with the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP).
This exciting new role encompasses three core pillars:

As the Program Coordinator, you will lead the day-to-day operations and implementation of the new Pharmacy Technician curriculum. Your duties will include scheduling, mentorship, collaboration with college departments, and helping shape the long-term growth and delivery of the program. - Accreditation Leadership:
You will also oversee the program’s initial accreditation process with the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP). This includes preparing and submitting the self-study documentation and ensuring that all components of the program meet accreditation standards from launch.
This position presents an exciting opportunity to help build a high-demand program tailored to the needs of our region. The successful candidate will not only contribute to the development of the curriculum but also mentor and guide students as they embark on a rewarding career in the fast-paced and respected field of pharmacy.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in both hospital and community pharmacy settings, a strong passion for teaching, and the ability to create a dynamic and hands-on learning environment that ensures students are well-prepared for success in the field.
