Medicine Hat College’s Yuill School of Health & Community Services invites applications for two Full-Time Regular positions in our Practical Nursing Diploma Program at our Medicine Hat Campus. These positions will commence July 1, 2026.
A little about the role:
As a member of the faculty, the successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality theory, laboratory, and clinical instruction within a program-approved curriculum. This role supports student success through evidence-informed teaching practices, meaningful assessment and feedback, and active participation in program development and continuous quality improvement processes.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to learner-centered education, interprofessional collaboration, and preparation of graduates for safe, competent, and ethical nursing practice.

Details:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred) or Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma is required
- Current registration (or eligibility) with an Alberta nursing regulatory body (CHLA or CRNA) as a member in good standing
- 5 years of full-time nursing practice
- Strong clinical expertise across relevant practice settings
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
- Willingness to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that focuses on student success and has a positive, appreciative and enthusiastic personality
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy
- Previous experience in clinical, laboratory, or classroom instruction is preferred
- Additional assets include certification in simulation-based education and experience in curriculum development and program evaluation
