Records Management Project Assistant (Student)

A little about the role:
- scan and organize records, both paper and digital
- label and enter documents into the computer system
- apply a classification system and file naming convention set out for organizational information
- file and label archived paper records in storage and/or shred redundant documents as directed
- ensure high quality scanning and accuracy
- lift, carry, and transport boxed documents to and from storage
Details:
- A student who is enrolled in an administrative office professional, business administration or related post-secondary program
- High school students may be considered based on qualifications and availability
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Familiarity with record management and filing
- Proficient typing skills and data entry experience
- Thorough and accurate with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Independently motivated to complete tasks and projects
- Maintains strict confidentiality, tact, and respect at all times while performing responsibilities
- Ability to lift 20 pounds (following OHS practices), sit, bend, stretch and stand for extended periods of time
Terms of Employment: Approximately 6 to 8 weeks depending on the project needs
Hours of Work: Up to 35 hours per week as scheduled
Wage Rate: $18.00 per hour
