Medicine Hat College invites applications for a full-time, regular Student Recruiter - an advocate of Medicine Hat College and the quality student experience we provide.
A little about the role:
Reporting to the Coordinator, Admissions and Recruitment areas of responsibility for the Student Recruiter include attending recruitment events throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan and planning and implementing on-campus activities and events to support domestic recruitment, marketing and promotion of Medicine Hat College. This position also supports individual students, high schools and the community to connect themselves to Medicine Hat College and the learning opportunities the institution has to offer with the goal of providing advice, guidance and support to potential students regarding program offerings, admission requirements and laddering opportunities.
Travel and overnight stay throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan will be required; the amount will be determined based on the needs of the unit.
Details:
- An undergraduate University Degree in a related field OR an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work experience.
- Two years’ related work experience, preferably in a post-secondary educational environment.
- Thorough knowledge of Medicine Hat College
- Able to travel – to locations within Western Canada
- Ability to speak publicly in front of large (up to 1000) people
- Valid driver's license
Hours: 35 hours per week
Wage Rate: $28.28 per hour (Start Rate); $31.60 per hour (Job Rate)
