Medicine Hat College’s Division of Trades and Technology invites applications for a part time Trades Assistant II in the Electrical program at our Medicine Hat Campus.
A little about the role:
The primary responsibilities of this position include constructing and repairing equipment for shop projects, as well as overseeing the daily operations of the labs. Candidates must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Details:
- Grade XII or equivalent
- 2 years apprenticeship training in a related field OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience
- Additional 2 years of related experience
- Journeyperson Certification
Term of Appointment: July 2, 2025 - June 26, 2026
Hours: Casual up to 35 hours per week, as needed and as scheduled by supervisor. Evening and weekend work may be required
Wage Rate: $24.85 per hour (Start Rate); $28.10 per hour (Job Rate)
