Anne says, "The best thing about teaching the Health Care Aide Program is the relationships that I am lucky to have the opportunity to build with the students. The class learns together Monday-Friday so we become a tight-knit group."
She is very proud of her Health Care Aide Program Team at Medicine Hat College and feels fortunate to teach alongside wonderful colleagues. Anne strives to ensure the classroom is safe, respectful, supportive, encouraging, engaging, and fun.
Nursing has been a great adventure for Anne. She began her career in her home-town rural hospital and went on to nurse in Intensive Care, Home Care, northern outposts, Long Term Care, management, staff education, and educating across Alberta in RN, LPN, and HCA Programs.
When Anne is not teaching, she loves to gather with friends and family.
