Began teaching at MHC: 2007
My teaching practice is grounded in a human centered design process that encourages students to understand people, context, and purpose before creating technical or visual work. I teach primarily with professional design and CAD based technologies, focusing on clear workflows in drafting, modeling, and visualization while integrating principles from motion design and digital media. What I value most is working with students who genuinely engage and take ownership of their learning. In my classroom, students can expect direct feedback, practical demonstrations, and clear expectations. Outside teaching, I develop interactive installations that turn audiences into participants, exploring how digital tools can shape meaningful spatial experiences.
I am currently researching contemporary digital practices for rural creators.
