Kristal is the Academic Chair of Health in the Yuill School of Health and Community Services at Medicine Hat College. A registered nurse with expertise in emergency care and simulation education, she is passionate about strengthening health programs that serve our community.
In addition to her leadership role, Kristal teaches in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, where she enjoys teaching pathophysiology and fostering experiential learning. Her research interests focus on simulation education and its role in enhancing student learning. She is dedicated to creating supportive environments that encourage students to take risks, reflect on their practice, and build the confidence needed for professional nursing practice.
